iPad Pro App Design
Adobe has historically wanted to be part of the entire creative process, but they do not yet have a concepting or ideation application. This spec fills that gap for Adobe by leveraging current research on the creative brain.
Research suggests that may be true. With a decrease in writing things by hand, we are not activating the parts of brain that stimulate focus, memory, and creativity. Brain scans have shown that handwriting activates 3x more neural circuits than typing on a keyboard.
Technology is very practical when used for documentation and brainstorming / ideation. With the popularity of tablets as a primary digital work device, and since handwriting now smoothly interacts with tech, we can take advantage of the the share-ability and collaborate-ability of tech without losing the benefits of handwriting.
An app that optimizes the benefits of writing and combines it with the organizational and share-able capabilities of technology. Your notes will never be lost in a sea of paper. Adobe Note, where the creativity begins.

The thoughts you have are important.
Write the idea exactly the way you want to. With customizable pens, paper, sticky notes, notebooks, and notebook covers, Adobe Note is a merge of everything that is good about stationery with all the capabilities of technology.
Bring those notes with you into the final production as everything you wrote down as your idea becomes reality. Through integration with the whole Adobe Creative Suit, your notes, brainstorming and moodboards are only a click away.

A person who enjoys working in both analog and digital mediums. They have a passion for technology, but like to start their creative process with the good ol' fashion pen and paper process.
The "Analog Technologist" switches easily between these two mediums.
More people are buying tablet products that are compatible with a high-tech stylus'.
These tablets are often replacing laptops as a primary portable device.
For creators, being able to go quickly from concepting to making is very important. Products that allow for collaboration all in one file are also in high demand.
The "Analog Technologist" switches between working on paper and working on a computer.
They find that working in an analog medium is better for deep thinking.
They also do not ascribe to there being just one way to do things, and they like to try out different workflows if they see that the old one isn't compatible with what they are planning.
Tablets that come with a stylus are mainly advertised to creative / artists, people who:
People aren't writing things down anymore.
People who don't adapt to new technology.
There is something about seeing someone using tech in an analog way that is intriguing.
Seeing someone using a tablet with a stylus makes others also want to try it out, or get their own.

Handwriting notes, especially in cursive, showcased an increase in brain activity that was not present when typing notes.
By writing information down by hand, we actually ingrain it better into our minds and are most likely to remember it.
